School excursions to India

We organise school excursions to India for students from other countries. India is a large country and we have divided the school tours into 3 categories

  1. North India: This school trip begins from New Delhi, the capital of India. It includes a trip to the Taj Mahal (One of the 7 Wonders of the World). The school trip is covers the Golden Triangle. North India has a rich history and there are many wondrous historical monuments to visit. We also include educational interests with visits to the National Science Centre, the Nehru Planetarium, and some museums. There are some fun activities as well for the students to look forward to. You get to enjoy Mughlai food and enjoy the spicy food of North India.

  1. South India: The southern part of India is different from North India. There is the historical aspect, but this trip is more about fun and adventure. We take the students camping for a few nights near Bangalore. We also visit the city of Mysore which used to be an independent Kingdom a few centuries ago. The students can also enjoy the backwaters of Kerela and a night in a house boat. The food in South India is liberally flavoured with coconut. A taste you will have fond memories of.

  1. East India: You arrive in Kolkatta and head off to the Himalayan Mountains. In this trip we visit Darjeeling (Queen of the Hills) and Sikkim. There will be plenty of breath-taking views of the majestic Kanchanjunga peak and the hues of the sunrise on the snow peaks. The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute has relics of the famous expedition by Edmond Hillary and Tenzing Norgay to Mount Everest. The trip will comprise of plenty of walking and trekking. Sikkim borders Tibet and a part of the population comprises of Tibetan refuges. You can taste the delectable Tibetan food.

Ours trips are customised as per your specific interests. We will give you an idea of what we can do and you can let us know what you have in mind. We also take into consideration the number of days of the trip. There will be some travel involved and we try and ensure that we balance this out. We also design the tour based on the budget. We like to ensure that the students get comfortable accommodation and good food.
